Our attention to quality starts the moment the hogs arrive at our barn. Our animal areas are specially designed by world-renowned, animal care expert, Dr. Temple Grandin. After the hogs' journey to Rantoul Foods, we ensure that they get plenty of rest.  We treat them calmly and move them carefully to reduce any stress and limit harming the meat quality. Our care locks in flavor and ensures the best possible tenderness and juicyness.

We invested in building unique and proven methods, that produce an exceptionally clean product. Our three-step scalding system uses scrubber brushes, high pressure hot water, and a steam cabinet. We call this our Purity Pathway and there's nothing else like it, anywhere.

We are careful at Rantoul Foods, to ensure our products are as cold as we can get them, as fast as we can, but without ever freezing them. Our specialized coolers are designed to quickly chill our products, to enhance quality and increase shelf life. We do this to lock in the beautiful color and ensure that the meat's structure never breaks down.
